2017年7月、SANTA名義でDJ活動をスタート。Houseを中心とした様々なジャンルでプレイをしている。
2020年3月からはYuta Yamada名義でDeep Tech/Deep Houseの制作およびこれらを軸にしたDJセットをスタートした。
Womb、OATHなどの東京都内のクラブを中心に活動しているが、Defected Croatia 2022、Shelter Amsterdam、Barcelona City Hall、MunichのPimpernelなど海外のフェスやクラブでもプレイをし、活躍の場を広げている。
オーガナイザーとしてはDeep House/Deep Tech Partyに特化した"The Swirl"を主催し、Kolter、Vitess、Dennis Quinを招聘してきた。また、他にもRobbie Doherty、THEOS、DJ Houseumらを招聘し、海外の最先端の音楽シーンと日本のシーンの融合を目指すべくパーティーを開催してきた。
トラックメイカーとしては、アメリカのRawsome Deep、ウクライナのWhoyostro、イタリアのHowl Records、クロアチアのDobar House、スペインのDubnation Records、チリのNopresetなど海外レーベルからも数多くの楽曲をリリースしている。
また、2023年11月には日本人プロデューサーのAmps、MINT(JPN)とともにDeep Tech/Deep House/Tech Houseレーベル"Play Of Color"を設立し、Deep Tech/Deep House/Tech Houseシーンの拡大に向けた活動にも力を入れている。

In July 2017, Yuta Yamada started DJ career under the name SANTA and plays in various genres, mainly House.
In March 2020, he started producing Deep Tech/Deep House under the name Yuta Yamada and DJ sets based on these genres.
He mainly plays at clubs in Tokyo such as Womb and OATH, but he is also expanding his playing field by playing at overseas festivals such as Defected Croatia 2022, Shelter Amsterdam, Barcelona City Hall, and Pimpernel in Munich.
As an organizer, he has been running "The Swirl," a party dedicated to Deep House and Deep Tech, where he has invited artists such as Kolter, Vitess, and Dennis Quin. In addition, he has hosted parties featuring artists like Robbie Doherty, THEOS, and DJ Houseum, aiming to bridge the cutting-edge international music scene with the Japanese scene.
As a trackmaker, he has released on labels such as "Rawsome Deep" in US, "Whoyostro" in Ukraine, "Howl Records" in Italy, "Lauter." in Luxembourg, "Dobar House" in Croatia, "Dubnation Records" in Spain, "Nopreset" in Chile and so on.
Also, In November 2023, he established the Deep Tech/Deep House/Tech House label "Play Of Color" with Japanese producers Amps and MINT(JPN), and is focusing on activities to expand the Deep Tech/Deep House/Tech House scene.
His favorite drink is roasted green tea, and his least favorite is tequila.
